55 — CBM Container System 1 2 3 (ENG) The Protected Valves Model Container is a mechanical filtering system requiring no maintenance. Its correct functioning can be controlled by inserting a tip in the suitable hole in the centre of the valve bottom. The three working position of the valve during and after sterilization are shown in the drawing. Before sterilization the valve is in state of rest. During the vacuum stage depression makes the valve open completely, so that air escapes from the container. Afterwards the valve closes, and the second valve opens; in this stage steam enters and the sterilization stage starts. At the end of the cycle the valve closes tightly in order to maintain the container load sterile. (FRA) Le conteneur modèle soupapes est un système de filtrage mécanique qui ne nécessite aucun entretien. Son bon fonctionnement est contrôlable grâce à l’introduction d’une pointe dans l’orifice approprié au centre de la soupape. Le schéma suivant présente les trois étapes de fonctionnement de la soupape pendant et après la stérilisation. Avant la stérilisation, la soupape est à repos. Pendant la phase de vide du cycle, la dépression fait ouvrir complètement la soupape. Ceci permet la sortie de l’air du conteneur. Puis la soupape se ferme et la contre soupape s’ouvre laissant entrer la vapeur. La phase de stérilisation commence alors.
